Market Drivers:
Markets closed lower in the US today against a backdrop of hawkish comments from more Fed officials. European markets gained led by energy banking and utilities.
Yesterday markets reacted to Fed Bullard’s hawkish comments as he clapped back against the recent market move, which has been driven by lower rates and a weaker dollar on expectations of a Fed pause/pivot.
Today another Fed official, this time President of the Boston Fed, Collins, reiterated the hawkish tone undermining the recent market move. This comes in a week where legendary investor Stan Druckenmiller said don’t fight the Fed in an interview. Markets are anticipating easier monetary policy from the Fed at some point as the economic indicators point towards an increasingly likely recession in 2023; however, Fed officials have said with their comments this week that the time is not now.
However, in Europe, markets gained led by energy, banking, and utilities companies.
Snacks from the HCA Platform:

The agreement will commence on 22 November 2022. In today’s trading, WindowMaster gained 7.59%.
